Humility is the true nature of man. The latin word "humus" which means earth or lowly is also the root word from which both words "human" and "humility" are derived. This nature is what Jesus Christ came on Earth in human form to restore. There is grace for the humble and even though God is the high and the lofty One, He condescends and lives with the lowly.
